I love this dress! It is adorable! Thanks so much for the pattern.
Too cute!!!
Thank you. I am going to use this as a starting point for making a simple baby shirt to go with soakers as a shower gift.
so how "newborn" size is this pattern? what would you recommend for a 3 month or 6 month size? size up needles or adding more stitches?
Do you know what the pattern would be for a size 18 months??
Thank you!
Dianne
Sorry for being so absent! I would say it is a 3-6 month size. The friend I made it for had her daughter wearing it within the 3 month mark. She also wore it for a long time -- all the way to a baby-doll style shirt when she was a toddler, there is a lot of stretch. If you were looking to make it for an older child, the easiest way would be to up the yarn gauge and needles -- then you won't have to figure out the stitch count for sizing up.
thank you so much for the pattern. this is my first time making any garment and this pattern was easy to follow. I greatly appreciate you sharing it with us. Again... thank you so very much!
